Each pet "breathes" and their 100% synthetic fur is soft to stroke as they rest in your lap. Pets will breathe continuously for approximately 3-4 months by using the alkaline D battery (included) - possibly longer should you disconnect the battery between uses. No on-off switch. Clean only with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water to keep neat and tidy. Chocolate lab measures 9-1/2 L x 7 W x 3 H inches. Carrier box measures 11 L x 7.-3/4 W x 5 H inches when flat, 11 L x 7-3/4 W x 9 H inches with the tent up. Bed measures 13 L x 10 W x 2 H inches.
