Constructed from heavy-duty, durable vinyl plastic, it features a rust-resistant stainless-steel skeleton and articulated joints that allow for realistic victim handling, carrying, and immobilization during extrication drills. When the manikin is filled with water, it naturally submerges up to its neck to mimic a realistic floating or drowning positioning. To simulate a completely submerged victim for deep-water recovery drills, an additional 5 to 10 pounds of weight (such as a standard brick) can easily be added.
